Jobalrt is a technology-enabled recruitment and employment platform that connects jobseekers, employers, recruiters and other recruitment-related participants.

Jobalrt may provide services including:

• creation and management of candidate profiles;
• job search;
• job applications;
• resume/CV hosting;
• communication between candidates and recruiters/employers;
• job alerts;
• recruitment-related communications;
• recruitment and staffing services;
• employer/recruiter search and access to candidate profiles; and
• other employment-related technology services introduced from time to time.

Jobalrt is a platform and facilitator. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Jobalrt does not itself guarantee employment, interviews, selection, salary, promotion or any particular employment outcome.

2Eligibility

You must be legally competent to enter into these Terms.

Unless a particular service expressly states otherwise, Jobalrt is intended for persons who are 18 years of age or older.

You must provide accurate information about your age and identity.

If you are below the applicable minimum age for a particular service, you must not use that service.

3Registration and Account

Certain Jobalrt services require you to create an account.

You agree to:

• provide accurate, complete and current information;
• keep your information updated;
• maintain the confidentiality of your password;
• not share your account with another person;
• immediately notify Jobalrt of any unauthorised use of your account; and
• not create an account using another person's identity or information.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.

Jobalrt may require verification of your mobile number, email address or other information where reasonably necessary to maintain platform security.

4Accuracy of Candidate Information

You are responsible for the information you provide to Jobalrt.

This includes information relating to:

• name;
• contact information;
• education;
• qualifications;
• employment history;
• skills;
• experience;
• salary/CTC;
• job preferences;
• location;
• certifications;
• resume/CV;
• professional achievements; and
• any other information you voluntarily provide.

You must not knowingly provide false, misleading, fraudulent or materially incomplete information.

If your circumstances change, you should update your profile where appropriate.

Jobalrt may take appropriate action where information appears to be fraudulent, misleading or materially inaccurate.

5Resume / CV

You may upload a resume/CV to Jobalrt.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and share the contents of your resume.

Your resume should not contain unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.

6Job Applications

Jobalrt may allow you to apply for jobs listed by employers, recruiters or other authorised users.

When you apply for a job, information from your Jobalrt profile and/or resume may be shared with the relevant employer or recruiter to the extent necessary for the recruitment process and in accordance with your selected privacy settings and the Jobalrt Privacy Notice.

Submitting an application does not guarantee:

• an interview;
• a response;
• shortlisting;
• selection;
• an offer;
• employment; or
• any particular salary or employment terms.

Employers and recruiters are responsible for their own hiring decisions.

7Employers and Recruiters

Jobalrt may allow authorised employers and recruiters to search for or access candidate information according to the candidate's selected profile visibility settings and the services available to such employers/recruiters.

Employers and recruiters are responsible for:

• using candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes;
• complying with applicable law;
• maintaining confidentiality;
• not misrepresenting themselves;
• not misusing candidate information;
• not selling or unlawfully transferring candidate information; and
• not demanding prohibited or inappropriate payments from candidates.

Jobalrt may restrict, suspend or terminate employer/recruiter access where misuse or violation is identified.

8Job Alerts and Communications

Jobalrt may send service-related communications necessary to operate your account, including:

• account verification;
• security notifications;
• application updates;
• interview-related communications;
• account notifications; and
• important changes to the Platform.

Where required, promotional or marketing communications will be subject to applicable consent and communication preferences.

You may manage available job-alert and promotional communication preferences through your account.

9Fraud and Payments

Jobalrt does not authorise employers or recruiters to demand unlawful payments from candidates in exchange for:

• job applications;
• interviews;
• selection;
• employment offers;
• background verification; or
• guaranteed employment.

Candidates should exercise caution if anyone claiming to represent an employer or Jobalrt asks for money or sensitive information.

You should never disclose your:

• OTP;
• password;
• banking password;
• Aadhaar OTP;
• EPFO password;
• Income Tax password; or
• other authentication credentials

to an employer, recruiter or any other person.

If you believe you have encountered recruitment fraud involving Jobalrt, you should report it to us through the designated grievance/reporting channel.

10Prohibited Activities

You must not use Jobalrt to:

• impersonate another person;
• create a fraudulent account;
• provide deliberately false information;
• post fraudulent jobs;
• collect candidate information unlawfully;
• harass or threaten another user;
• discriminate unlawfully;
• send spam;
• distribute malware;
• attempt unauthorised access;
• interfere with Platform security;
• scrape or systematically extract Platform data without permission;
• copy or reproduce the Jobalrt database without permission;
• reverse engineer the Platform except where permitted by law;
• use automated bots or scripts without authorisation;
• use Jobalrt for unlawful purposes;
• sell or misuse candidate information; or
• circumvent access controls or security measures.

11User Content

You retain rights in content that you lawfully own and upload to Jobalrt.

By uploading content to Jobalrt, you grant Jobalrt a non-exclusive, limited licence to host, store, process, display and share that content as reasonably necessary to provide the services you have requested and in accordance with your privacy settings and Privacy Notice.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to provide such content.

Jobalrt may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

12Intellectual Property

The Jobalrt name, logo, website design, software, databases, features, text, graphics and other Platform materials are owned by or licensed to Namsbel/Jobalrt and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Platform only for its intended purpose.

You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit Jobalrt's proprietary materials without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

13Third-Party Services and Links

Jobalrt may contain links to third-party websites, applications or services.

Such third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Jobalrt is not responsible for the independent operation, content, security or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

You should review the applicable third-party terms before using them.

14Paid Services

Jobalrt services may be offered on a paid basis.

Before purchasing a paid service, the applicable:

• price;
• taxes;
• service description;
• payment terms;
• validity period;
• cancellation terms; and
• refund terms

will be presented to you where applicable.

No payment should be made to an individual claiming to represent Jobalrt unless the payment is made through an authorized Jobalrt payment mechanism.

15Refunds

Refund eligibility, where applicable, will depend on the specific service purchased and the applicable refund policy displayed at the time of purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16Suspension or Termination

Jobalrt may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including where:

• these Terms are violated;
• fraudulent information is provided;
• the Platform is misused;
• there is a security risk;
• unlawful activity is suspected;
• an account is used to harm other users; or
• required by law or a competent authority.

Where appropriate, Jobalrt may provide notice or an opportunity to rectify the violation.

You may close your account through available account controls or by contacting Jobalrt.

17Account Deletion

You may request closure or deletion of your account.

Deletion may be subject to:

• legal obligations;
• pending transactions;
• dispute resolution;
• fraud prevention;
• security requirements;
• regulatory requirements; or
• information that Jobalrt is legally required to retain.

18Privacy

Jobalrt's collection and processing of personal data is governed by the Jobalrt Privacy Notice.

The Privacy Notice explains:

• what information is collected;
• why it is collected;
• how it is used;
• when it may be shared;
• retention;
• security;
• candidate rights;
• deletion;
• consent management; and
• grievance mechanisms.

The Privacy Notice forms an integral part of these Terms.

19Security

Jobalrt will implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the nature of the personal data and services provided.

However, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access.

20No Guarantee of Employment

Jobalrt does not guarantee:

• employment;
• interviews;
• job offers;
• employer responses;
• candidate responses;
• salary levels;
• accuracy of every third-party job listing;
• continued availability of a job;
• suitability of a job for a candidate; or
• suitability of a candidate for an employer.

Candidates and employers are responsible for making their own employment and hiring decisions.

21Disclaimer

Jobalrt provides its Platform on an "as available" basis, subject to applicable law.

Jobalrt does not guarantee that the Platform will always:

• be uninterrupted;
• be error-free;
• be available at all times; or
• be completely free of security vulnerabilities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

22Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jobalrt/Namsbel shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

The detailed liability provisions may be supplemented by service-specific terms where applicable.

23Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Jobalrt/Namsbel against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from:

• your material breach of these Terms;
• fraudulent or unlawful use of the Platform;
• infringement of another person's rights through content submitted by you; or
• misuse of the Platform.

This clause does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss results from Jobalrt's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred to you.

24Changes to These Terms

Jobalrt may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means where required.

The updated version will be published on the Platform with the revised effective date.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where legally permissible.

25Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory statutory dispute-resolution rights available to you, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

27Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

28Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Jobalrt Privacy Notice and any applicable service-specific terms, constitute the agreement governing your use of Jobalrt, subject to applicable law.
